Literature

As you may have gleaned from my post on A Game Of Thrones. If you read it, I love reading. I read everything I can get my hands on. My mom had to make a no reading on the stairs rule so I wouldn't fall and kill myself, but I did it anyway. My love of books has lead me discover that I can not only read, but also write a bit as well. This blog came into being from because of the same tactics that I find when reading a book, or a magazine, or even listening to the radio. When I read, I can sometimes be so entranced by the story unfolding under my nose that I become unable to see, hear, or smell anything other than the book I happen to be reading. Although this can be of great use, it can also be bad in some situations. For instance, when I was in elementary school we had a lot of time to read quietly. When that time ended, I often wouldn't realize that it had, and would continue to read until either another student or the teacher would bring me out of my trance. Even though it had it's disadvantages in the past, and I'm sure that it will continue to do so, but I still love and will always love reading.
